Business Development Representative - Inside Sales, North America

For our team at EVBox North America, we’re looking for a dedicated Business Development Representative - Inside Sales. You will be a part of our fast-growing team and will focus on our inside sales operations. For this role, it is important that you have a good understanding of the energy sector and the dynamics and requirements for EV
charging solutions. You will report to the Senior Vice President in North America. As a part of our sales team, you will help and support our local Business Developers.

Your daily activities will consist of:

  • Cold calling prospects
  • Support our sales managers with commercial activities, lead generation, account development and relationship management on the North-East Coast
  • Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from marketing activities
  • Develop and maintain a customer and prospect database
  • Respond to and follow up on sales and information enquiries by e-mail and phone
  • Participate in creating successful implementation plans of new business initiatives
  • Improve customer service experience and create engaged customers
  • Make quotations and sales proposals
  • Help coordinate sales meetings



  • Bachelor or Master degree
  • 3+ years of experience in sales or business development
  • Experience in the clean energy or real-estate sector is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Knowledge of working with sales CRM-systems
  • Outgoing mindset and ability to build a network
  • Direct report management experience preferred
  • Experience in high-level business discussions & negotiations, C/SVP/PV level preferred
