As a Director - Automotive Program Management you will be responsible for the overall project management function which includes providing leadership to our internal teams while ensuring deliverables are met in time, in budget and in quality for our current and future automotive OEM projects. You will make sure that all stakeholders are always informed with the latest information, thereby ensuring that needed decisions and milestones are met.

Responsibilities (not limited to and subject to change)

  • Responsible for establishing the project management organisation as a centre of excellence
  • Accountable for all timelines and effective resource deployment
  • Build & manage a team of project managers for automotive projects
  • Define the project management process, standards and deliverables to ensure consistent project execution
  • Create clear agreement of service levels to be delivered to all stakeholders, including identifying and documenting acceptance criteria
  • Assure that all projects are traceable to objectives, sufficient to achieve the objective and are within the capacity of the organization
  • Collaborate with customer teams in development of electric vehicle charging equipment
  • Ensure development of all PM’s including appropriate certifications and training as part of a comprehensive development plan
  • Manage project scope and deliverables through a structured change management process to ensure customer expectations are met, while protecting revenue objectives
  • Assess actual performance against the project plan and make adjustments consistent with plan objectives
  • Regularly tracks progress on all project plans and provide updates to the organisation on proactive basis (Highlights progress & issues)
  • Manage program risk, facilitate identification of risk mitigation strategies and drive issue resolution


Qualification / Experience

  • Bachelor/Master’s degree in engineering, information science or a similar field of study
  • Minimum 10 years experience in managing automotive OEM projects
  • Experience in leading multiple projects ideally from scratch within tight timeframes 


  • Deep knowledge of program and project management process, software tools and techniques


  • German speaking is a must 
  •  Exceptional communication skills
