Just like the automobile replaced the horse and carriage, so will electric vehicles replace combustion-based automobiles. A charging point at every parking spot, an Electric Vehicle for every driver.


As part of Acquisition in our Marketing & Growth team at EVBox HQ in Amsterdam, you’ll work closely together with our Senior Front End Developer and our Growth Hacker. The website is subject to constant experimentation, in order to keep improving the UX and visitor journey—which sometimes can mean drastic redesigns.


Main responsibilities: 

  • Work with Marketing & Growth team to transform our website’s look & feel to match our customer segments’ needs
  • Work with the Marketing & Growth team in building modules & applications that allow visitors to interact and experience the world of electric vehicle driving / charging
  • Pixel-perfect implementation of UI/UX with a focus on driving customer engagement and creating beautiful and unobtrusive user flows
  • Participate in the design process, gathering requirements across groups including engineering, marketing, product management, customer support and design 

Requirements

  • Portfolio link on resume required
  • Experience in HTML and CSS
  • Strong attention to detail and solid communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments where passion for customer engagement and great experience are at the forefront of all design & development

Preferred qualifications: 

  • 1-2 years of development experience
  • Experience in JavaScript. VueJS is a framework you're going to work with
  • Experience in HTML5 and single-page web-apps and frameworks
  • Experience with different CMS platforms (MODX preferably)
  • Ability to write high-performance, reusable code for UI components
  • Design orientated mindset and skills (a.k.a. using your right brain)
  • Used to working in agile, experiment driven environment
  • Experience with Git version control
  • Experience in writing efficient CSS preferably with CSS processors, such as SASS
